Resources for Parents, Teachers, and Counselors of the Gifted

There are a variety of resources that may be checked out from the gifted contact person's resource cabinet.  If you need resources for your gifted students/child, please email Judy Cuccio at jcuccio@prc.k12.ms.us .

There is no question that bright students are often labeled and misidentified as gifted. How often do we fail to recognize the truly gifted students? Are these learners missing critical opportunities to develop their potential? Is our idea of what a gifted student looks like actually a bright student instead? Parents/guardians, students, fellow educators, and advocates may find the following comparison chart worthy of thoughtful reflection.
